It started with the idea – why don’t I have a mobile guide that helps me connect with local businesses while saving money? From this seed, Wagglez has grown into a mobile coupon platform that provides people with customized offers and information about their community. Our namesake comes from the unique waggle dance of the honey bee, which is a peculiar dance bees perform once they have found nect

ar in the wild. Back at the hive, they do a “waggle” dance to communicate where the honey is located so other bees can find it. This is the essence of Wagglez – we want our people to find interesting local places, get great discounts, and let their friends know about their experiences. If you don’t live in Athens, we hope to expand to your community soon. We are looking to transform the mobile coupon landscape by first providing what you want – coupons that always work with local businesses – and building from there to provide people with reviews, menus, and events. Wagglez is all about democratizing the web – your personal information shouldn’t be farmed out to AD agencies, nor should all of your content be used by social networks for their own benefit. Wagglez will NEVER sell your personal information, and any content you contribute is yours to keep or delete.
