To celebrate National Community Development Week (April 6-10), join the ACCGov Housing & Community Development Department on a tour of some of the local affordable housing and community development projects funded by federal and local funds. The week-long national celebration is designed to commemorate National Community Development Week, a nation-wide opportunity to recognize impact of the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership Programs on local communities.

Participants will meet at the Historic Athens Welcome Center (280 E Dougherty St. Athens, GA, 30601) for a brief overview of the tour before boarding the tour shuttle. After a 30-45 minute narrated drive past key sites in East Athens and downtown, HCD staff will be available for a brief Q&A and offer light refreshments.
