We’re stuck here at the Bombs Away house awaiting COVID test results and can’t make it downtown today so in solidarity with our neighbors here and comrades in Atlanta and everywhere we’re chipping into the ATL Solidarity Fund (atlsolidarity.org). We remain fully in support of the abolition of police. We will not be satisfied by a percentage of funding being redirected to community services or new quotas for mental health workers/social services training. So long as the police exist they serve the interests of private property and white supremacy and put oppressed people (centering black people here, let's not get it twisted) at risk. We can't piecemeal reform ourselves out of a death machine.

Please share this link to Minnesota Freedom Fund's website and donate if you're able. They've been doing work organizing against ICE detention as well as regular bail support.

With the recent murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis they are working alongside legal rights orgs to support those who are arrested while demonstrating against police violence.

If I took the time to update our inventory of books and put it online for people to check them out, would anyone be interested? You'd just dm/email us with the book you're interested in and we'd do our best to have a sanitary, contact-less handoff of the books.
