Never drive through standing or flowing water on a road!

Today our team was dispatched to a vehicle in the water in the Village of Coxsackie.

Car 2, 2-5, 2-2, and Boat 2-6 responded with 4 divers.

Coxsackie fire command returned us while enroute after locating the driver.

We are currently staffed and running numerous other water related calls and the Greene County Sheriff's Office NY water rescue team is stagged at the Cairo Fire house as the rain continues to fall.

A donation will be made to the Athens Fire Department equivalent to around 20-25% of the night’s sales. And that includes everything. Food and drinks on site, takeout food, beers to go, everything adds to the total 💰💰

Today members from Athens Vol. Fire Department and City of Hudson Fire Department water rescue teams conducted dive training in the Hudson River. 7 Divers from both agencies and multiple tenders and scribes spent their morning training off of Hudson Boat and utilizing Athens Boat’s 2-6 and 2-7 to transfer and transport divers from on shore staging. Great morning of training.
