FYI Single Action Revolver
The weapon in the earlier video is the same design as the one used in the Rust incident.

This type is called a single action revolver. The hammer is c**ked with the thumb, it rotates a cylinder and the only way to release the hammer is by pulling the trigger.

If you attempt to c**k the weapon whilst pulling the trigger the hammer will fall and discharge if there is a round in the chamber.

Actor Alec Baldwin has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for his role in the shooting.
