Congratulations to our newest School Resource Officer (SRO) Jeremiah Sullivan on graduating from D.A.R.E. Officer Training Class #36. The training was held in New Hampshire via the Northern New England D.A.R.E. Training. Ofc. Sullivan (with Deputy Chief Ryan O’Shea) has served Hingham for 17 years and will take over the position from SRO/D.A.R.E. Officer Robert Ramsey who is retiring.

The B.P.C.O.U. and Burlington Police Patrolmen's Association send our sincere condolences to the Cross family on the recent passing of retired BPD Officer Stephen Cross. Steve retired in 2016 after 33 years of dedicated service with the Burlington Police Department. He spent his last 13 years in the BPD assigned to the Burlington Schools as a D.A.R.E./School Resource Officer where he mentored and fostered trust with so many students while creating a safe and supportive school environment.
