Farragut State Park is a beautiful 4000 acre outdoor recreation area on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho.70 years ago the United States Navy had a large training facility on this land. Now, camping, hiking, mountain biking, equestrian use, model airplane flying, disc golf, swimming and boating are just a few of your options as you visit the park.

This Saturday, Farragut is partnering with Better Together Animal Alliance to host an adopt-a-dog day. Shelter volunteers will have pups to meet and we’d love for you to join!

Hello Farragut friends! The Museum at the Brig will open at 1:00 pm on Tuesday August 11th, and Tuesday August 18th. Every other day we open at 10am. We hope you can come see us!

Attention Farragut visitors!

On Friday, August 7th at 12:01 am.
Farragut State Park will be moving into Stage 2 fire restrictions.

Prohibited under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions-

Building, maintaining, attending, or using a fire, campfire (wood or gas fueled), or stove fire.

Smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle or building, a designated recreation site or while stopped in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren or cleared of all flammable materials.

Operating motorized vehicles off designated roads and trails in accordance with existing travel management plans.

Cooking with LPG or other pressurized fuels will be allowed.

Cooking with pellets or charcoal briquettes is prohibited.
