Today, we celebrate the incredible work happening across Atkins School District!

The Atkins Middle School continues to demonstrate what consistency and excellence look like. Year after year, AMS has remained among the highest-performing middle schools in the state, thanks to the strong leadership, high expectations, and a staff committed to doing what is best for students.

The Atkins Elementary School deserves a tremendous amount of recognition for its outstanding improvement! Our AES teachers and staff have worked incredibly hard to improve instruction and student growth, and their efforts are showing in the results.

We are incredibly proud of the students, teachers, administrators, and staff at both schools.

We are proud to announce that Atkins Middle School has been recognized as a 2025-2026 Arkansas
Gem School by the Arkansas Department of Education! This year, AMS showed significant growth, indicating improved instruction and meaningful growth for our students. Congratulations to our students and teachers on this great accomplishment!

🏈 A LITTLE RED DEVIL FOOTBALL HISTORY IS COMING YOUR WAY! 🏈

We are excited to announce that we will be sharing old Atkins Red Devil football games and highlight films that have been digitized and preserved on our Red Devil Media YouTube channel!

Time is running out to apply for Summer EBT 2026! The deadline is August 31. While some families receive Summer EBT automatically, if your child attends a school where all students receive free lunches, you may need to fill out an application so DHS can determine your eligibility based on income and household size.
