Update: The owner was located and he has been returned home.

This sweet boy was found wandering and is currently safe and being cared for while we try to locate his owner.

He is a friendly, older black-and-white dog with a gray face, white markings on her chest and paws, and was wearing a red harness when found.

If you recognize this dog or know who he belongs to, please contact us. Please share this post so we can help get him home!

⚠️ COMMUNITY ALERT ⚠️

Atkinson Police are investigating recent incidents involving vehicles in the Salem Road and Pheasant Lane area.

The attached video shows two individuals running from the area following a reported vehicle break-in. A separate vehicle was also stolen from Pheasant Lane at approximately 1:34 a.m. this morning.

Please lock your vehicles, remove keys and valuables, and check your cameras for any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information or video footage is asked to contact the Atkinson Police Department

Atkinson Police Department’s phone lines are currently down due to an outage.

For non-emergency police matters, please contact Plaistow Police Department at 603-382-1200.

For emergencies, continue to call 911.

Officer D’Avolio made a special stop at a local lemonade stand with one of our departments new cruisers!

The kids got the full experience checking out the cruiser, seeing the lights and getting a tour from Officer D’Avolio himself!

We love opportunities like this to get out in the community, meet the families we serve and give kids a fun look at what we do!

Thanks for having us and keeping Officer D’Avolio hydrated!
