Come out this Saturday to explore our hiking trails during our RAMBLE WITH A RANGER guided hike. We’ll provide an illustrated scavenger hunt of things you’re likely to encounter in the park. You’ll learn how to identify different plants and help the ranger keep an eye out for birds, insects, and tracks. The best part about a walk in the woods is you never know what you might find... but the butterflies have been fluttering around!

WHEN: Saturday, April 11 at 1PM
WHERE: Arrowhead Trailhead
BRING: Drinking water, sunscreen, good walking shoes, and weather appropriate clothing.

Free with paid park admission ($3 per person for those 13 and older) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.

Trail distance is approximately 0.8 mile (1.3 km). Terrain is relatively flat, but ground is uneven or sandy in places. Approximate hike time 1 to 1.5 hours.
