The Department of Watershed Management has restored of water service at 540 Platoro Court SW. Crews disconnected a six-inch water main to make emergency repairs. The outage affected eight homes, zero apartment complexes, zero businesses, and one hydrant.

⏰ Greatest impacts expected: 3 p.m. – Midnight
Residents and visitors should prepare for:

🌊 Localized flooding
💨 Wind gusts up to 40 mph
🌳 Possible downed trees and power outages
🚗 Travel delays across the city

The FIFA Fan Festival™ is expected to close at 3 p.m. due to forecasted weather conditions.

City departments, public safety agencies and emergency management teams are actively monitoring conditions and have crews positioned across the city to respond as needed.

If you're heading downtown, attending FIFA World Cup 2026™ activities or traveling through Atlanta this evening, allow extra time, monitor weather conditions and avoid driving through flooded roadways.
