* Until 1030 PM EDT.

* At 941 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Comins to near Barton City to 8 miles northeast
of Plainfield Township, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Mikado and Hubbard Lake around 950 PM EDT.
Lincoln, Lost Lake Woods, and Ossineke Township around 955 PM EDT.
Harrisville, The Town Of Hubbard Lake, Spruce, and Spratt around

Ossineke and Harrisville State Park around 1005 PM EDT.
Black River and Negwegon State Park around 1010 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Devils
Lake, Milen Township, Mitchell Township, and Sid Town.

* At 938 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Waters, or 12
miles south of Ga***rd, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

Blizzard Warning
BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 PM EST SATURDAY
Blizzard Warning issued January 12 at 4:37AM EST until January 13 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Ga***rd MI
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations of
10 to 15 inches anticipated with localized amounts of 18 inches
possible. Frequent wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph expected this
evening and tonight.

* WHERE...Otsego, Montmorency, Crawford, Oscoda and Ogemaw
Counties.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 7 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Worst conditions expected this evening and tonight.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible during this time.
Widespread blowing snow is expected to lead to significantly
reduced visibilities for several hours. Significant drifting may
lead to some impassible secondary roadways. Strong winds could
cause tree damage and result in power outages. Dangerous driving
conditions are anticipated this evening and overnight, making
travel strongly discouraged.
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must
travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded,
stay with your vehicle.

Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday
evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Northern lower Michigan.

* TIMING...Tuesday afternoon and early evening.

* WIND...Northeast winds increasing to 10 to 15 mph, with frequent
gusts around 20 mph.

* TIMING...11 AM to 9 PM Today.

* WIND...Mainly south winds of 5 to 10 mph. Lake breeze formation
expected this afternoon. Gusts of 15-20 mph possible behind the
lake breeze.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 13 to 18 percent away from lakeshore areas.
Humidities may remain below 25 percent behind the lake breeze.

* TEMPERATURES...75 to 86 degrees. Cooler temps of 65 to 75 near
