Well, we had our son the other day.
His name is Rainier Jubilee McHargue. Sarah is doing great and was incredible during delivery. Rainier is doing just perfectly these days. And the girls got to visit their brother that they have been so very excited to meet!
I’m so proud of Sarah, and am so excited to keep loving my family big time!

Here is one we recently made for an incredible bike company called woom. We've been fans of them since Ellie was little. They really are supurb, so we were so excited when they reach out to us to work with them.

Heading out on our 10 year wedding (from back in Dec) anniversary trip! We’re backpacking the Wonderland Trail which is a 93 mile loop around the base of Mount Rainier in Washington. We’re excited for the adventure ahead! Lots of snow ahead and our first time using an ice axe!

Happy Resurrection Day!
Just a thought. Even if you don’t celebrate it we can all at least be happy to see people happy to be dressed up and cute in bright colors! 😊
But for those who do celebrate it… man oh man, what a great defining day.

We just got our 15 baby chicks today! All of them made it safe and alive to us. We got a mixed breed of egg laying hens. We don’t know which kinds we have yet. But generally we have 8 darker blackish chicks and 7 blondish. So far we taught the girls how to pick them up and be gentile with them.
Next step is for us to build them a chicken coop!

It happened. 😊 Out with the old and in with the new (kinda).
When I started this account back in early 2020 before the pandemic… it was titled “AnOutdoorFamily”. Then the pandemic hit and an opportunity arose to help provide the locations and resources I knew with the people of Atlanta. I thought it would be fun and maybe there would be a chance to make some money off of it. Not the entire goal though. Well, I’ve stated why I want to switch away from the “business” idea/model of Outside In Atlanta, back to just being our outdoor family adventure content as AnOutdoorFamily. I hope you enjoy!

There is something powerful about returning to the same place!

We are hosting a FREE kids group hike at Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve on Saturday March 25th. It will be a nice kids paced stroll through the preserve, we’ll make our way to a fun play area and hang there for a while. Bring a snack and water.
