Dear Ones. We’ve had a need for over a year now for a new “Auburn Shepherd” to manage this group. Ideally a rising sophomore or junior parent, or one with an incoming freshman, who would commit to praying over the students weekly, managing the page and being a point person for PFTNG. If this brings the slightest flicker or nudge email me [email protected] and I can share more details. We’ve been praying for awhile and the door doesn’t seem to open so we’re opening it a little wider now!

B – Oh Lord Jehovah You are our Banner and our shield.
Exodus 17:15
Lord God, I pray when our next generation lose their way, it is YOU Jehovah Nissi, the Banner that draws them back to You. Oh Lord, you are ahead of all things, and you see what is ahead and I pray they trust and look to your path. Lord, as you provided Moses with Aaron and Hur, bring each one of our children those friends that hold them up, lift them up and carry them in the storms and remember there is no greater friend than you Jesus.

They can grow and conform to the pattern of the world or they can grow in His grace and knowledge. Praying simple prayer that they do not conform to the world, but that the seek Him and His ways. Pray they seek fellowship, community and for them to be surrounded by men and women who point them to Jesus.

I have been thinking of our students and how the summer brings rest in many ways. Of course, that looks different for every student, and while I pray that they are resting and growing in new ways closer to Jesus I pray that we continue to labor and not rest and grow weary in prayer.
“Father, may we not fall into temptation of growing weary of praying for the next generation. I pray we would remain alert in the Spirit, and aware that the enemy is not going to give up any territory and in Jesus’ name we continue to fight and claim victory for the next generation. Many seeds of revival were planted, and we remain steadfast in praying and asking Father that this next generation root themselves deeply in your word and truth. That they proclaim the Name of Jesus boldly and seek You first. Oh Lord that they would not conform to the patterns of this world. May we remember and apply and pray your word and promises together. Lord, your word tells us to keep asking and it will be given; keep seeking and we will find; keep knocking and the door will be opened. We come to you Jesus our King. Amen. “

This is my prayer today! Oh Lord, may our children and future grandchildren see You and Your incomprehensible ways as our strength. May we laugh at adversity and cling to each and every promise knowing that you can not lie and we can trust our hearts, souls and minds to you. Thank you Jesus for every woman who has chosen to gather to press on and not give up seeking all you have promised for the next generation. God Bless these mamas today and every day. Thank you Jesus. Amen

It is good when He directs my heart toward HIM. It is easy in the busy, in the hot, in the upheaval surrounding us to forget to Praise the Lord in all circumstances. Because my friends, He is in control and He PROMISES we shall not be in want (Psalm 23). Today He has already shown me, on the few hours I've been awake, that He wants my eyes on Him. I'm going to make a thank you list right now. "praise the Father, Praise the Son, Praise the Spirit 3 in 1. God of Glory, Majesty, Praise forever to the King of Kings."
