🗣📢 KAFH out in the field!! 🥳🥳

this past weekend, the KAFH team and volunteers joined our amazing friend for a fun weekend of door knocking and talking with voters about the importance of the upcoming election! (peep the Korean flyers too!!) Rep. Kim would be the *first-ever Korean American Senator* and we are so so so excited to help support him and / in the final stretch of this campaign.

keep an eye out for more direct voter contact opportunities in the final 21 days 👀 coast-to-coast, KAFH has been and will be out in the field working to reach our community! join us for a fun time and good conversations 😻

yesterday some of our team had the honor of attending the first ever 추석/Chuseok celebration at the White House. we have so much gratitude for the Korean American leaders who made this event possible, as well as the Biden/Harris Administration for recognizing the importance of this mid-autumn festival in our cultural heritage.

to be loved is to be seen, and the visibility that this Administration provides to Korean Americans, and so many others, is irreplaceable in our hearts and minds at a time when the other side has continued to demonize immigrants and attack our communities for political gain. the Biden/Harris Administration makes clear that we, immigrants or descendants of immigrants, belong here, that we are valued here, and that we deserve the opportunity to thrive.

when our elders came to America, none of them could have imagined us together celebrating 추석 at the People's House -- that it became a reality is the beauty of the American Dream. yesterday was a testament to the sacrifices so many have made for us to be here, living proof that together we can accomplish great things those before us never dared to imagine.

Chuseok / 추석 is the Korean Mid-Autumn Festival to celebrate the harvest and pay respects to our elders and ancestors. We hope that if you're celebrating, you're able to spend time with family, eat some delicious food, and reflect on this past year!
