MARCH IS BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH!
In observance of Brain Injury Awareness Month this year and in lieu of the Administration for Community Living’s annual in-person Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Stakeholder Day, will be hosting virtual TBI Tuesdays (1:00 - 4 pm ET) during the months of March and April.
With an overarching focus on equity, each TBI Tuesday session will highlight the work of the TBI State Partnership Program grantee workgroups and their resources for stakeholders, federal partners, and will involve individuals with brain injury. Each TBI Tuesday session is structured to include panel discussions, question and answer sessions, and generous breaks in between. More information about each session and how to register is provided below.
Each TBI Tuesday session will be live-captioned and ASL-interpreted. If you require additional accommodations to participate or if you have any questions about the sessions, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected].

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by advancing innovative research and improving the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by paralysis, has partnered with Shepherd Center, a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury to introduce a new video series, Cultivating Resilience After Spinal Cord Injury Trauma. When an individual sustains a spinal cord injury (SCI), there is no one path for coping with the emotions and the adjustments that need to happen in one's life. Many people have feelings of being lost, isolated and angry as they navigate their changed lives.
