Make Winn Parish Beautiful!!

Atlanta will meet on Saturday April 20th in the Atlanta High School parking lot at 9 a.m. The Winn Parish Police Jury will supply the equipment needed for the project and we will choose several streets or roads to pick up the trash. Then at 11 a.m., meet at the Recreation Center in Winnfield where they will serve hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. If you can or want to help text Janet Finklea at 318-628-0976 or 318- 628-6789, Pam Carey at 318 -452-7771 , message me on my personal page or the village page, or comment on this post. Please be aware that the burn ban has been reinstated!

Due to elevated fire risk starting today and leading into this weekend, the state burn ban has been placed back into effect in Winn Parish until further notice. Effective immediately. Please refrain from burning! Thank you!

Good Morning everyone! I'm sure most of you have received your most recent water bills and may or may not have noticed the information on the back! The annual Water Board meeting is coming up on June 13th and they will be discussing the possibility of drilling a new well! They also have board members up for re-election but if you wish to nominate someone for election to the board, you must request a nomination form from the secretary! You can call 318-542-2370!
