The Georgia State University Law Review is a legal journal published four times a year by second- and third-year Georgia State University law students who have demonstrated outstanding writing and academic skills. The staff of the Law Review edits and publishes articles written by scholars, practitioners, and students. The fall issue features an annual legislative review known as the Peach Sheets.

This review provides the legal community with an in-depth view of the Georgia General Assembly's activities and the legislative intent behind significant bills. The winter, spring, and summer issues feature articles from scholars, practitioners, and students on new and significant issues in the legal community. The summer issue also features shorter articles focusing on the topic of the Law Review’s annual Symposium. The Law Review’s annual Symposium is a forum that centers on a pressing legal topic. Distinguished scholars, judges, and practitioners offer insight in the form of live speeches and panels. The day-long event is organized by the Law Review’s Symposium editors and is typically held in the early spring.

The Georgia State Law Review is hosting its first-ever Legislative Forum on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Legislative Forum brings the Georgia State Law Review's annual legislative issue, The Peach Sheets™, to life! We will also be joined by Chief Justice David E. Nahmias of the Supreme Court of Georgia and Professor Eric J. Segall of Georgia State Law for a discussion on statutory interpretation, moderated by Presiding Judge Stephen Dillard of the Court of Appeals of Georgia.

A reception to meet and network with some of our speakers will follow in the atrium from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attorneys in attendance will be eligible for CLE credits. Mark your calendar and register here so you don't miss out on this inaugural event!
