The photos are in!

The Atlanta Police Foundation’s 14th Annual Blue Jean Ball brought together Atlanta’s business, civic, and community leaders for an unforgettable evening in support of officer safety and public safety initiatives.

Hosted at the private residence of David and Maureen Cote in Atlanta, the event featured live music, elevated western-inspired experiences, a live auction, and a powerful Fund the Need campaign focused on equipping Atlanta Police Department officers with Level III tactical gear.

Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and attendees, the evening raised critical funding to help better protect the officers who protect our city every day. Grateful to have helped bring this incredible event to life and to witness a community come together around such an important mission.

Building stronger communities goes beyond public safety. 🏡💙

The Atlanta Police Foundation partnered with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and participated in the Carter Work Project at Langston Park! We purchased and helped build a home that will be provided to a City of Atlanta Police Department police officer through our Secure Neighborhoods program. This initiative helps officers live in the communities they serve, strengthening connections between law enforcement and residents.

Projects like this reflect the impact of partnerships that support the men and women who serve Atlanta, both on and off duty, while helping strengthen neighborhoods across our city.

One Year of Excellence at the Public Safety Training Center

One year. One mission. One stronger Atlanta.

Since opening its doors, the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center has helped train more than 650 police officers and firefighters, preparing them to respond when our city needs them most.

But the impact doesn’t stop there. From partner agency collaboration to professional staff development and meaningful community events, this space has become more than a training ground, it’s a place where relationships are built and trust is strengthened.

Every scenario, every lesson, every connection made here helps shape a safer, more unified Atlanta. Here’s to one year of training with purpose and many more to come.

From Recruit to Officer 🚔

One year ago, Officer Bush’s journey started at the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, where he trained in real-world scenarios designed to prepare officers for anything they may face in the field. From de-escalation to crisis response, and community engagement, every day was focused on building the skills, judgment, and confidence needed to serve Atlanta safely and effectively.

Alongside firefighters and fellow recruits, he trained in high-pressure environments that mirror real emergencies, learning how to make split-second decisions when it matters most.

Today, Officer Bush is in the final stages of field training out in the community, putting that training into action protecting and serving the people of Atlanta.

Training Together to Protect Atlanta

When seconds count, training makes the difference. At the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, firefighters and police officers train side by side in real-world scenarios, building the teamwork it takes to respond when it matters most.

No matter the situation, Atlanta’s first responders are ready to answer the call.
