For children, it's 1 in 5.

Georgia consistently ranks among the highest food insecurity rates in the nation.
This isn't a statistic to scroll past. These are neighbors, classmates, coworkers.
Food insecurity doesn't always look the way you'd expect. It hides in full-time workers stretching their last groceries. In seniors rationing meals. In parents skipping dinner so their kids can eat.
It's closer than most people think.
