Last night in Atlanta, our community came together for the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) Gala, an inspiring evening and a powerful reminder of the strength of community.
The event highlighted the deep and enduring bond between our community and the brave men and women who serve and protect Israel.
Consul General Eitan Weiss shared remarks emphasizing that even thousands of miles from Israel, distance does not weaken connection, if anything, it strengthens our shared commitment to stand together and invest in Israel’s future.
His words reflected not only the challenges Israel faces today, but also the resilience and determination of its people.
We are grateful to the soldiers who shared their stories, and we thank them for their service to the State of Israel.

It is symbolized by bonfires, representing light, resilience, and the enduring strength of Jewish continuity.
Across Israel and around the world, communities come together on this day, united in tradition and shared identity.
Wishing all who celebrate a happy Lag BaOmer. 🔥
