🎨🚗 A new school year is getting one step closer at Atlanta High School!

AHS Student Council members rolled up their sleeves and got to work painting over last year's senior parking spot artwork, helping prepare the lot for the Class of 2027. 🐰❤

One of AHS's favorite traditions allows seniors to personalize their parking spaces with artwork that reflects their personalities, interests, and future plans. Thanks to the hard work of Student Council, a fresh canvas is now ready for the next group of seniors to leave their mark on campus.

We can't wait to see the creativity the Class of 2027 brings to the parking lot! 🎉🎨

📸🎓 Attention, Class of 2027!

It's almost time for senior portraits! Portraits will be taken on Tuesday, August 4, in the Atlanta High School Auditorium.

⏰ Portrait Schedule (by last name):
• A–C: 9:00–10:00 a.m.
• D–G: 10:00–11:00 a.m.
• H–L: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
• Lunch: 12:00–1:00 p.m.
• M–P: 1:00–2:00 p.m.
• Q–S: 2:00–3:00 p.m.
• T–Z: 3:00–4:00 p.m.

👕 Attire Guidelines:
• Girls: Please wear a tank top or a shirt that can easily be pulled down below your shoulders. (A drape will be provided if needed.)
• Guys: Please wear a T-shirt or a shirt without a collar.

These portraits will be used for the yearbook, so be sure to attend during your scheduled time. We can't wait to see the Class of 2027 kick off their senior year! 🐰❤

❤🎓 Atlanta High School celebrated the Class of 2026 during graduation ceremonies last Friday, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another for an outstanding group of seniors. 🐰✨

The evening was filled with smiles, memories, proud families, and excitement for the future ahead.

The Class of 2026 also leaves behind an incredible accomplishment, earning more than $5.2 million in scholarship offers to continue their education and pursue their goals.

🎓❤ A special surprise was waiting for our seniors when they arrived for graduation practice on Thursday.

The kindergarten students who formed friendships and bonds with the Class of 2026 back in August came to wish them well and present them with a special gift. 🐰✨

It was a sweet full-circle moment—beginning the school year together and now celebrating as the seniors prepare to walk across the graduation stage. From little Rabbits to graduating Rabbits, the connections made this year created memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

🎓✨ Class of 2026 Senior Spotlight ✨🎓

Today, we are proud to highlight Alexis Brooks.

Alexis has been actively involved in Cheer, National Honor Society, Yearbook, and Student Council, demonstrating leadership, school spirit, and a strong commitment to both academics and service throughout her high school career.

After graduation, Alexis plans to attend the University of Arkansas, where she will begin her journey in Pre-Nursing. She will complete her prerequisites before entering nursing school to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with the goal of pursuing a career in Labor and Delivery, a path centered on care, compassion, and making a difference in others’ lives.

Her advice to future seniors is both meaningful and reflective: “Take a look around you and enjoy every moment, because soon it will all just be a memory.”

One of Alexis’s favorite memories as a Rabb is Friday Night Lights — from visiting the primary campus as senior cheerleaders, to pep rallies, to cheering on the Rabbits under the lights, and ending the night at Whataburger laughing with friends. Those moments of connection and tradition made her senior year unforgettable.

Alexis, we are proud of your leadership, heart, and dedication to serving others. ❤️🐰

Congratulations to Nolan Hapner on earning 3rd place at the State competition in Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking! 🐰❤

Competing against some of the top speakers in Texas, Nolan showcased outstanding communication skills, critical thinking, and poise under pressure.

🎓✨ Class of 2026 Senior Spotlight ✨🎓

Today, we are proud to highlight La’Nysha Dickerson.

La’Nysha has been actively involved in the Patient Care Technician program, where she has gained hands-on experience and developed skills that prepare her for a future focused on helping others.

One teacher who has made a lasting impact on La’Nysha is Mr. Whitehead. She shared that throughout her time in his class since 9th grade, he has always brought positivity, humor, and genuine care into the classroom. His ability to create a welcoming environment where students can be themselves made a difference in her experience. La’Nysha credits him with helping her develop a more positive mindset and encouraging her to stay patient as she works toward her goals.

After graduation, La’Nysha plans to attend Texarkana College to pursue a career as an aesthetician, working toward building a successful future and continuing her personal growth.

Her advice to future seniors reflects her perspective on making the most of high school: “Try everything you can while you’re in school so you don’t leave with regrets.”

One of her favorite memories as a Rabb was the senior pep rally, when the class gathered together to share their experiences and reflect on their high school journey, a meaningful moment filled with connection and pride.

La’Nysha, we are proud of your growth, positivity, and determination to create a strong future for yourself. ❤️🐰
