Whether explosive arguments, property damage, pornography addiction, or manipulation, we sabotaged ourselves constantly with poor practices and destructive p

atterns. Giving our lives to Christ changed the source of our hope; this was foundational to awakening us to the harm we were causing one another and why. The strategies that brought lasting victory came by confronting the root causes of our issues with help from the Holy Spirit who provided support and correction through the Word of God, fasting and prayer, and wisdom and insight from brothers and sisters in the faith. We learned to improve our practices, change our thinking, change our outlook, and to embrace the reality of storms and be prepared to navigate through them. For 10 years, and now heading into our 26th year of marriage, we're continuing to help other couples do the same. We are devoted to the support and development of Christ-centered marriages through 2-on-2 or group coaching, facilitated dialogues, workshops, and retreats. Marriage isn’t always about thinking alike.

And that can be hard to navigate if your happily-ever-after included thinking you and your spouse would always agree on everything.

But you may think fast and linearly. While your spouse processes slowly and deliberately. Some days, those differences may weigh more heavily than others — testing patience and care.

But God is teaching even in the midst of this: difference is not dysfunction. It’s His design.

When we choose patience over pressure, empathy over frustration, and grace over perfection, our differences don’t divide us, they strengthen us.

So we choose tone over tension, grace over gossip, and patience over pride.

Even when we disagree, we do it with dignity.

Because our goal isn’t to win an argument, it’s to preserve connection.

When harmony leads our words, love leads our hearts. 🕊️

We’ve learned this the hard way:

You can do everything “right”… and still carry unnecessary weight.

This season, we’re choosing to give more, save more, and worry less. ❤️

If you’ve been feeling the tension between doing your best and still feeling overwhelmed… you’re not alone.

Who’s being heard in your financial conversations… and who’s not?

Financial peace starts with both voices at the table.
Not just agreement—but understanding.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” — Proverbs 15:22

Regular money conversations bring peace, clarity, and unity.

We declare that our boundaries are guided by love and wisdom, not fear or resentment. 🛡️

Love builds. Wisdom protects. Peace prevails. 🕊️

Marriage will humble you…

Especially when you’re 3 hours into building IKEA furniture
and somehow have extra pieces and less patience 😅

One of you: “Let’s follow the instructions.”
The other: “I got this.”

Marriage isn’t just about love —
it’s about how you handle pressure, miscommunication, and unmet expectations.

And sometimes… it looks like arguing over a screwdriver. 🪛😂
