From initiatives like Luggage of Love and Shop with a Sheriff, to the Back to School Giveaway, Thanksgiving Giveaway, and partnerships with the NPHC, the conversation highlighted the importance of service, outreach, and building stronger connections with the community we serve.

Sheriff Labat also shared updates on upcoming changes to misdemeanor intake protocols and the continued efforts to improve operations and public safety across Fulton County.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Tax Sales are held on the first Tuesday of each month , at 10 AM on the steps of the Fulton County Courthouse at 136 Pryor Street SW.

Registration is not permitted the morning of the sale.

Online registrations must be verified in-person between 8:30 AM and 9:45 AM on the day of the tax sale. Present your photo ID when you arrive to receive your bidder ID card. Bidder ID cards will not be issued after the tax sale is under way.

Preparedness through partnership. 🚨

We led a mass evacuation drill at the Fulton County Justice Center Complex as part of ongoing emergency preparedness efforts ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026. The exercise ensured employees, public safety personnel, and partner agencies are prepared to respond quickly, safely, and effectively during emergency situations.

Special thanks to Fulton County Police Department, Atlanta Fire & EMS, Atlanta Police Department, Georgia State University, Georgia State Patrol, and the Georgia Department of Public Safety for their collaboration and commitment to public safety.
