This week, the Georgia Chamber concluded its Georgia|2050 Regional Roundtable series, in partnership with the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, at Georgia Southern University.

Today, Georgia Chamber President & CEO Chris Clark joined Augusta University leadership for a tour of the Medical College of Georgia's Savannah Campus.

The visit included a student-led campus tour, a look at future expansion opportunities, and a roundtable discussion focused on strengthening healthcare partnerships across the region.

Thank you to Augusta University President Russell Keen and the MCG Savannah team for the opportunity to see firsthand how collaboration, innovation, and investment in medical education are helping build a stronger healthcare workforce and a healthier Georgia!

In September, the Georgia Chamber brought together business and community leaders, economic developers, and policymakers at UGA-Tifton for the 2026 State of Rural Prosperity. 🌾

The event highlighted the opportunities and challenges facing rural Georgia, the importance of responsible economic development, and the leaders working everyday to strengthen communities across our state.

We also recognized our 2026 Rural Community of the Year and three Rural Champions for their contributions to rural prosperity.

Congratulations to this year’s honorees, and thank you to everyone working to advance opportunity and build a stronger Georgia across all 159 counties.
