🚨 MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL JAIL SHAKEDOWN RESULTS IN RECOVERY OF CONTRABAND 🚨

On August 31, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office coordinated a large-scale, multi-jurisdictional shakedown operation at the Clayton County Jail. More than 120 officers and deputies from 5 agencies came together with one common goal: maintaining the safety and security of our detention facility.

During the operation, law enforcement personnel conducted a thorough search that resulted in the recovery of numerous items of contraband, including illegal drugs, excess medications, homemade shanks, and cellular phones. Inmates found to be in possession of these prohibited items are facing additional criminal charges.

Operations like this demonstrate the importance of strong partnerships between law enforcement agencies. When agencies work together, we can effectively identify threats, remove dangerous contraband, and enhance the safety of our facilities, our staff, our inmates, and the community as a whole.

🚨 YOU BRING IT IN… WE’LL BRING YOU IN. 🚨

Apparently, someone forgot that the Clayton County Jail has a guard line for a reason.

After being captured on video bringing contraband across the guard line to inmates, Quentarrious Shivers apparently thought he could make a delivery and walk away.

Not so fast.

On August 28, 2026, SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Elite Fugitive Unit tracked down and apprehended Shivers in South Georgia.

Shivers is charged with Crossing the Guard Line and three counts of Furnishing Inmates with Prohibited Items, including liquor, weapons, telecommunications devices, and other contraband.

Here’s the message: If you want to bring contraband to inmates in the Clayton County Jail, we’ll make sure you get some face-to-face time with those same inmates when we take you into custody.

The jail may have a guard line.
Our Fugitive Unit apparently has a much longer reach. 👀
Think twice before making that delivery. You might end up becoming a part of the inmate population.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN VIOLENT TATTOO SHOP ASSAULT CAPTURED IN MINNESOTA

On June 5, 2025, Clayton County Police responded to Cykotik Lifestyle Tattoos on Tara Boulevard after a man reported being brutally assaulted by multiple individuals.

Investigators say the victim was beaten, pistol-whipped, restrained with zip ties, threatened, and forced into a bathroom where his head was placed into a toilet. He suffered multiple fractures and lacerations requiring hospitalization and surgery.

Through surveillance footage, physical evidence, phone records, and evidence recovered from an iCloud account, investigators identified Javon Diamonte McDonald, also known as “Von,” as one of the alleged offenders.

McDonald was wanted on multiple serious charges, including:

• Armed Robbery �• Kidnapping�• Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon�• Aggravated Battery�• Aggravated Assault�• False Imprisonment�• Gang Activity (3)�• Hijacking a Motor Vehicle

Today, August 21, 2026, the United States Marshals Service and the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office Elite Fugitive Squad located McDonald in Minnesota, where he was taken into custody without incident.

#7 ON SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S TOP 10 APPREHENDED

On May 6, 2026, Nathies Heard fled from Morrow Police during a traffic stop, striking an officer with the vehicle’s door and knocking the officer to the ground.

Heard was wanted on multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault, Fleeing Law Enforcement, Obstruction, Reckless Driving, and Possession of Ma*****na.

Following the incident, SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN placed Heard on his Top 10 Most Wanted List and activated the Elite Fugitive Unit.

On August 18, 2026, Cobb County Police located Heard during a traffic stop and took him into custody.

SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Fugitive Unit has been making headlines lately, and it’s clear there’s some confusion about what the term fugitive actually means

FUGITIVE: A person who is wanted by law enforcement and is actively being sought for arrest, typically because there is an outstanding warrant for their arrest.

When most people hear the word “fugitive,” they immediately think of escaped inmates. While our Fugitive Unit may occasionally assist in locating and apprehending an escaped inmate, that is not their primary mission.

On a daily basis, SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Fugitive Unit is focused on tracking down and arresting individuals who are wanted for serious violent felony offenses. These are suspects who have active warrants for crimes that pose a significant threat to the safety of our community. Their job is to locate those individuals, take them into custody, and ensure they are brought before the court system.

Recently, we highlighted that the Fugitive Unit made 51 arrests in a single week. In that post, we listed only a handful of the most serious charges associated with those arrests to give the public an idea of the dangerous offenders being taken off the streets.

What many may not realize is that there were well over 51 charges associated with those 51 arrests. The charges we shared represented only a small portion of the criminal offenses involved.

The men and women of the Fugitive Unit work tirelessly behind the scenes, often in plain clothes and away from the spotlight, to locate some of the county’s most wanted offenders. Their work helps make Clayton County a safer place for everyone.

Did you know that SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Fugitive Unit made 51 arrests last week alone?

The Fugitive Unit is made up of the investigators you probably won’t see—because they’re not sitting behind a desk or seeking attention. These highly skilled investigators work in plain clothes, tracking down some of the most dangerous offenders in our community and bringing them to justice.

Among the 51 arrests were suspects wanted for:

▪️ 8 Aggravated Assaults
▪️ 3 Strangulations
▪️ 2 Kidnappings
▪️ 1 Arson
▪️ 1 Armed Robbery
▪️ 1 Murder

In addition, two of those arrested were on Clayton County’s Top 10 Most Wanted list.
