South Fulton Residents: Now is your opportunity to weigh in on the City’s proposed FY2027 budget.
The upcoming public hearings are the City’s formal process for residents to learn more about the proposed budget, ask questions and participate in the conversation before final adoption.
Under the theme, “Let’s Build: We Are Under Construction,” the FY2027 budget focuses on building on the City’s progress while investing in its future.
Some of the proposed budget highlights include:
- No change to the millage rate
- Expansion of the Business Licensing Team
- New homeowner housing assistance
- 3% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for firefighters
- Continued investments in parks, facilities and infrastructure
- Initiatives aimed at improving government efficiency, community collaboration, financial stability and quality of life
FY2027 BUDGET PUBLIC HEARINGS
First Public Hearing: Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.
Final Public Hearing & Budget Adoption: Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.
City Hall: 5440 Fulton Industrial Blvd., South Fulton, GA 30336
A City Council Work Session will also be held at 4 p.m. on August 25.
The decisions made through the FY2027 budget will help shape City services, programs and investments in the year ahead.
