Neighborhood Works Inc. and the City of Atlanta invite qualified city homeowners in need of critical home repairs or accessibility modifications to submit an application to the NWI Homeowner repair program. The homeowner(s) must:
Own and currently occupy their primary residence within the City of Atlanta
Have household income at or below 80% of the HUD Area Median Income
Need repairs that contribute to the safe and sanitary conditions of the home.
Have owned and resided in the home for at least five (5) years
Have not participated in a similar program in the past three years and have no current property liens from any such similar program
Be current on all mortgages and property tax obligations
Have current property insurance on the subject property
Have necessary project repairs that do not exceed $15,000*
Must be code compliant upon project completion.
Funds are subject to availability.
