Spark Reproductive Justice Now Ensuring the voices of Black women, and Q***r and Trans Youth of Color living in the South are included in the reproductive rights & justice movements.

SPARK is a reproductive justice (RJ) organization based in Atlanta, GA, advocating for policies that protect and expand access to the full range of family planning options, abortion, and s*xual health education for women and youth of color in the state of Georgia. Importantly, SPARK ensures the voices of women of color, young parents, and LGBTQQ youth of color living in the south are included in the reproductive rights and justice movements.

At SPARK and Kuluntu Reproductive Justice Center, we’re interested in the power of our collective imagination to imagine beyond our current-day systems, but our imaginations need fuel!

That’s why we are hosting a six-week book club series around the anti-capitalist book Everything for Everyone. We’ll be reading and discussing chapters while engaging with other texts, guest speakers, and activities to integrate what we learn and deepen our understanding!

Together, we raised OVER $1,400 for CLAWS (Coalition for Labor Autonomy and Worker Solidarity), a mutual aid fund providing micro-grants to Atlanta-based s*x workers.

We ended Pride month with a celebration of erotic expression as a pillar of Reproductive Justice. ALTAR: A S*x, Wine, & Chocolate Experience was a night of sensual performances and community gathering around s*x worker mutual aid.
