Tonight was not the outcome we hoped for, but my heart is full of gratitude.

To every voter, volunteer, donor, supporter, and neighbor who believed in this campaign: thank you. Thank you for your time, your prayers, your encouragement, your calls, your signs, your shares, and your trust.

This campaign was always about more than one election. It was about service, community, accountability, and building a stronger future for DeKalb County.

I am proud of the work we did together. I am proud of the conversations we had, the people we reached, and the hope we carried into this race.

While we did not win tonight, the work does not end here. I will continue to serve, continue to listen, and continue to stand with the people of DeKalb County.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in me and in this campaign.

With gratitude,

There have been moments in our history when exercising the right to vote was not just important. It was essential.

Today is one of those moments.

When we elect leaders whose interests do not align with the people, our communities pay the price. We see it in rising costs, unanswered concerns, delayed action, and local government that feels too far removed from the people it is supposed to serve.

DeKalb County deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and works for residents all year long.

Today, May 19, vote Jacqueline Adams for DeKalb County Commissioner, Super District 7.

Your vote is your voice. Use it today.
