What's the big deal about the We CARE Veterans Fair, where GLS always hosts a table, throughout the state and throughout the year? Mark your calendar for the Metro Atlanta event coming up on October 22, and read our latest blog post. It's an eye-opening Q&A with Andi Edwards of United Military Care about the impact these big FREE events have on Georgia's military community: https://gls.georgialibraries.org/behind-the-mission-how-the-we-care-vet-fairs-serve-those-who-served/

The GLS Road Trip wrapped up at the end of 2025, but GLS Outreach never stopped being on the road! We like to say that GLS reaches all four corners of Georgia, and last Friday we had a chance to stop by the Rabun County Public Library in the far northeast corner. Dyana is the branch manager and our GLS Ambassador for the Northeast Georgia Regional Library System. She and Rabun Raccoon welcomed us in for a quick look around and a meet-and-greet. Rabun has a small collection of braille books for children; you can use your PINES library card to check one out next time you're there, or request one for pickup at your local PINES library.
