The Johns Creek Fire Department will hold "Super CPR Saturday" on Oct. 24. Sign up & save a life.

Johns Creek's "Super CPR Saturday" returns October 24th with free, certification lifesaving classes for residents and businesses in how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use automated external defibrillator (AED).

The classes, part of the city's Heart Ready program, are taught by Johns Creek firefighters/paramedics at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
Attendance at one of the three classes is required for certification.

Reservations are required and can be made with the online CPR Certification form.

El Departamento de policía de la ciudad de East Point invita cordialmente a todos los ciudadanos interesados en aprender más sobre el funcionamiento interno de la policía para inscribirse en la Academia de policía de los ciudadanos.

La Academia se reúne cada martes de 19:00 hasta 22:00. El curso dura diez semanas y comienza el 11 de agosto de 2015. Estudiantes que asisten a la Academia a tomar clases sobre temas que van desde la prevención del delito, aplicación de la droga, las investigaciones penales y seguridad de armas de fuego. Los estudiantes también podrán realizar un paseo a lo largo en el campo con un oficial de policía.
