Staff Day out in the city. Visited the historic Oakland Cemetery to learn about its history and the residents that have eternal rest there. Have you visited Oakland Cemetery. It’s an Atlanta landmark and a great way to learn about Atlanta history and some of its famous residents including Maynard Jackson, Bobby Jones, Margaret Mitchell, Marie Woolfolk Taylor and Kenny Rogers to name a few.

A beautiful day in the neighborhood for the Gardenside Garden Party! Thank you to the neighbors that came by to fellowship, try fresh garden delights, paint planters and enjoy community. Thank you to Start:ME Atlanta Alum Lisa Love for sharing healthy tips and creating delicious food to sample! Shout out to the East Lake Women’s Alliance for your continued support and volunteering at the event!

Congratulations to neighbor, Katrina! Her T-shirt design was selected for the East Lake 5K. Over 500 participants and volunteers will wear shirts with her design as they run through the community! We love to see neighbors get involved. Thank you Sheltering Arms Early Education & Family Centers for allowing us to pull up and surprise Katrina!
