Marine Corps Officer Candidate School

The Platoon Leadership Course over the summer allows for full time enrolled college students to attend OCS over the summer without interfering with the fall or spring semesters.

The Officer Candidates Course takes place in May, September, and January over the course of 10 weeks. Those that have a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Message me about eligibility requirements.

Big congratulations to Candidate Kenneth Hayes III from on getting selected for the Platoon Leaders Class! He’ll spend the summer up in Quantico, VA then return to Mercer this fall for his senior year.

Hayes is ready to take on the challenge of leading Marines as an officer. He already exhibits the leadership qualities we look for as a treasurer and chaplain in his fraternity Kappa Alpha Order leading by example.
