Goddess Garden Atlanta

Goddess Garden Atlanta The Goddess Garden Atlanta is an urban wilderness habitat, healing sanctuary, and medicine society. When you visit, wear sturdy shoes and stay on the paths.

Created by Shasta Zaring in 1990, the Goddess Garden Atlanta is an urban wilderness habitat and healing sanctuary nestled in the heart of the City of Atlanta. It is a sacred space dedicated to the Divine Feminine in all religions, paths and cultures. Altars to Goddesses from various world cultures adorn the paths and are tended by the Garden's keepers. More than a Garden space, we are also an int

ersectional, Earth-honoring community of womxn who practice a range of healing, visual and spiritual arts. Our mission is to commune with the Divine Feminine energies of the Earth and cosmos, in order to heal, protect and strengthen all beings, seen and unseen. This one-acre preserve is cultivated without the use of pesticides and herbicides and is a certified Audubon Society Urban Wilderness Habitat, a sanctuary for all people, wildlife and spirits. Located just off the Atlanta Beltline, the Garden is in walking distance to many city attractions, such as Ponce City Market, Historic 4th Ward Park, Carter Center and Little Five Points. While this land is private, it is open to the public during daylight hours. Do not disturb the altars. Leave a cash donation, which will go to cat food and bird seed, in the collection boxes. Shasta Zaring offers private spiritual consultations and lessons by appointment, as well as Sacred Time, Sacred Space group classes on the foundational teachings of the Goddess Garden. Additionally, we offer Spirit House Atlanta: a magical, intimate, 5 star-rated Airbnb rental. Goddess Garden vandalized.

Last night thieves entered the Garden and took many of our precious power objects and statues (small ones that could be carried) They cut off the old medicine bundles, but left the Moon Cow Tree on the ground. Missing is Tara from Tara's portal, Oshun from South Alter, Quan Yin's swan, from East alter, She Who Sees from center of wheel. and others. I'm grateful that the crystals are still here. Many of these power objects have been here for 20 years.

As spiritual and magical practioners, there are many ways to approach this event. It's part of the earth changes and frequency shift. How do the Priestesses respond? How do we handle a threat and a violation?

We will rebuild and renew, but when is it safe to do so? Will they come back?

The Garden is still fine. Someone approaching for the first time would not notice any thing off. I noticed things missing last week. Last night was extreme. After getting over my shock and sadness for the loss of old friends I had the sense of "out with the old and in with the new". Sent out a spell of amplification of karma to the thieves.

I feel the Goddess surrounding and protecting.

I love you all and am so grateful that we are all here and doing this dance.

In this Fall season of transformation, we are requesting donations to help with repairs, taxes and maintenance of our urban wilderness sanctuary. Our Annual Fundraising Goal is to raise $10,000 by December 21, 2023, to offset the costs of repairs, taxes and maintenance at the Goddess Garden Atlanta.

Your donation will provide for the continuous upkeep of this unique wildlife sanctuary, because it takes a village to care for our sacred habitat and its creatures. We thank you in advance for your generosity, and ask you to share our cause with your networks.

Many blessings to you and yours, from us at the Goddess Garden Atlanta!
