The event brought together business leaders, elected representatives, entrepreneurs, and community members to celebrate the enduring friendship between India and the United States as America marks its 250th anniversary.

Guest of Honour Congressman Dr. Rich McCormick reflected on the remarkable American experiment envisioned by the Founding Fathers and highlighted the significant contributions of the Indian-American community to the economic, cultural, and civic life of the United States. CG highlighted the India US strategic partnership and commended the entrepreneurial spirit of generations of Indian diaspora who have pursued the American Dream through hard work, dedication, innovation, and service.

The Consulate, in partnership with India in New York, organized an insightful webinar on the India–U.S. Trade Facilitation Portal titled "Building Trust in the U.S. Market: Matching American Engineering Specs to Close Deals." The webinar brought together over 100 business leaders, manufacturers, exporters, and industry representatives.

The discussion highlighted the Southeast U.S. as one of America's fastest-growing manufacturing, export, and investment hubs, particularly in aerospace, defence, and advanced engineering. presenting significant opportunities for Indian engineering companies. Industry leaders from Lockheed Martin, Valmet and MTAB USA shared practical insights on supplier qualification, quality standards, documentation, and building long-term business partnerships.

Participants also explored how the India–U.S. Trade Facilitation Portal connects buyers and sellers, facilitates business matchmaking, and provides access to webinars, virtual trade exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
