We switched to a new platform in July, so if you haven't logged in since then, or you're a new applicant, you'll need to register for our updated system before you can access your account.

The good news? It only takes about 30 seconds!

Here's how to get started:

- Click "Register" to set up your account

The Georgia Composite Medical Board has heard the questions and concerns raised regarding last week's IV Hydration/Therapy Position Statement. This matter will be discussed further at the Board's upcoming meeting on June 4, 2026, where additional guidance, clarification, or updates may be issued.

In the meantime, all licensees are reminded to comply with applicable Georgia laws, Board rules, and scope-of-practice requirements.

We are grateful to one of our incredible Board Members, Dr. Gangasani, for including our team in his lunch and learn today with Northside Hospital Gwinnett Residents.

Dr. Gangasani led a thoughtful discussion on strategies for protecting your medical license, sharing real-life situations and giving Residents the chance to ask questions about the ethics and standards that make great physicians.

Northside Gwinnett's new tower campus is beautiful. Thank you to Northside for opening your doors and investing in the next generation of Georgia's physicians.

The Georgia Composite Medical Board is grateful for the collaboration of our legislative partners during the 2026 session.

With Governor Kemp's signature, these four pieces of legislation are now on their way to making a real difference for Georgia citizens and licensees alike. We look forward to seeing HB 717, HB 571, SB 427, and SB 162 take effect, and we thank Representatives Sharon Cooper and Lee Hawkins, and Senators Ben Watson and Chuck Hufstetler, for their leadership in advancing these important measures for Georgians.

The Georgia Composite Medical Board has published its 2026 Legislative Session Rule and Law Updates.

These updates affect several licensee types, including physicians, genetic counselors, cosmetic laser practitioners, APRNs, and physician assistants, with most changes taking effect May 25, 2026.
