They show up for us everyday, so we wanted to show up for them. knows the last week of session is no joke - so we brought lunch, lavender, and a little love to the Capitol. Thank you to our resilient legislators and to our Executive Director . hanhan for continuing to pour into the resources and support that is necessary to keep them safe and well. Thanks to the incredible HerTerm volunteers for making this happen. We're happy to be a small part of it and mostly to stand in the presence of these changemakers.

It was a thrilling day of press conferences! I was so honored to have been invited to speak at and event for Equal Rights Day and the to have been in the background for Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin’s announcements for Georgia Supreme Court! We’re very excited for women leadership this year!

Equal rights under the law should not be up for debate.

On Tuesday, February 24, we’re gathering at the Georgia State Capitol for Equal Rights Day — and I hope you’ll stand with us.

The Equal Rights Amendment reached full ratification in 2020. And yet, it has still not been published as part of the U.S. Constitution. Which means women do not have explicit constitutional equality under federal law.

That matters. Especially now.

Join us at 9:00 AM (South Steps, 2nd Floor).
Press conference begins at 9:30 AM.

Her Term is honored to speak alongside:
• State Representative Lisa Campbell
• State Senator Sally Harrell
• Triana Arnold James (NOW Georgia)
• Nichola Hines (League of Women Voters of Georgia)

We’ll also receive formal recognition in both the House and Senate, followed by a reception and meet & greet.

If you’ve ever said “this shouldn’t still be a fight” — this is the moment to show up.

Come stand with us. 💜

I would like to extend a warm welcome to Roswell’s new mayor, Mary Robichaux, and three new councilmembers — Jennifer Phillippi, Eren Brumley, and Christopher Zack — who were sworn in to office this morning. I look forward to serving with each of you alongside Councilmembers Christine Hall and Allen Sells to serve all of Roswell’s ~93,000 residents to the best of our abilities.

I would also like to thank former Mayor Kurt Wilson as well as former Councilmembers David Johnson, Will Morthland, and Lee Hills for their service. I’d like to say this is a thankless job but it’s a lot more than that: it’s showing up for your city day after day because you believe in a better tomorrow. We didn’t always agree on what that “tomorrow” would look like or how to get there. However, it takes a lot of determination, optimism, effort, and personal sacrifice to serve in their positions.

If you’re interested in serving but don’t want to go through an election, board seats like these are great options. And great resume builders for running for office in the future.

Team Ted Terry is sharing a very important opportunity to serve our community. The DeKalb County Tax Commissioner's Office is accepting applications for an appointment to the DeKalb County Board of Ethics now through Friday, Dec. 26, 2025. Application requirements and submission instructions are available online at https://forms.gle/o2MQJSN52hnf148p8

The form must be completed in full and include a current resume.

The DeKalb Ethics Board was established in its current form following the passage of HR 1243 in June of 2020. One board member is appointed by the tax commissioner of DeKalb County. By law, the Ethics Board is completely independent of the DeKalb CEO, Commissioners and any officers or employees of DeKalb County government.

For questions regarding the application or the selection process, please contact the Tax Commissioner’s office at [email protected]
