As of 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the boil water advisory REMAINS IN EFFECT for all impacted areas. The advisory will remain in place until DWM is cleared to lift following sampling protocols. Please see the map for the impacted area. Atlanta, we’ve experienced minimal impacts from the severe weather system, but high winds and potential flooding remain concerns.
Continue to use caution. Report downed trees to ATL311 by dialing 311, and avoid downed power lines and flooded roadways.

***Update: The NWS has canceled the Flash Flood Warning for Fulton County. The heavy rain has ended, though light rain is expected to continue off and on. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat.

Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

🌀 Thursday PM Update: Here is the latest on the wind threat with Hurricane Isaias. We are expecting long-duration strong winds beginning as early as around 11 PM Friday, likely lasting through early Sunday morning. Downed trees due to the strong winds and wet soils, as well as power outages are concerns.

Fulton County leadership has declared a local state of emergency.

The declaration allows the county to allocate and receive resources and support for its response to Hurricane .

As of the 5 am update, Tropical Storm has formed over the western Gulf. Uncertianity remains in the extent of impacts for north and central Georgia, but widespread rainfall and gusty winds are the current most likely impacts Friday night into Saturday. Impacts and timing are subject to change depending on the storm track so continue to monitor the forecast for updates!
