On 02.22.22 EMPOWRD was presented as a solution for the state of Georgia under H.R. 580 in a hearing hosted by the Governmental Affairs Redistricting & Elections.

For anyone unfamiliar with the process, the committee was scheduled to hear several bills that day and we were first up. There are no actual decisions made during the hearing so we provide booklets for the committee members to review afterwards in addition to the notes they take during the meeting.

The presentation went well, and we are still awaiting some next steps so everything is still in play (which is exciting!) that said no matter how this ends up my hope is to keep everyone involved in the process so we can all learn together. Your efforts got us to this point and if we are successful your support will be required once again. Thank you for helping us make Georgia EMPOWRD.
