🚨MUM STABBED PA******LE TO DEATH FOR ABUSING HER KIDS

A mother who stabbed a convicted pa******le to death after discovering he had s*xually abused her three sons has revealed her one lasting regret. Sarah Sands, from Silvertown in East London, knifed 77-year-old Michael Pleasted eight times in 2014 after he refused to admit to the abuse and was bailed ahead of his trial.

Pleasted, who had changed his name from Robin Moult to conceal a past riddled with child s*x offences, had befriended Sands and her boys after they moved to the area. Posing as a grandfatherly figure, he had been welcomed into the family’s life. But when her sons – Bradley, 12, and 11-year-old twins Alfie and Reece – revealed that they had been molested by him, Sands called the police.

Despite being charged, Pleasted was granted bail and returned to his flat, which was just a stone’s throw from the family home. Sands, having consumed alcohol, confronted him with a 30cm kitchen knife and killed him in what the court described as a “determined and sustained attack”.

Sands was convicted of manslaughter rather than murder after the jury accepted she had lost control. She was initially jailed for three-and-a-half years, later increased to seven-and-a-half. She served almost four years behind bars before her release.

In a recent interview, she was asked whether she had any regrets. Holding back tears, she replied: “Only one – letting him anywhere near us. That’s all.” She then paused, visibly shaken, and added that this still haunts her to this day.

Now free, Sands says she continues to live with severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She described how every day remains a battle and revealed that yoga, meditation and exercise are her lifelines. She also said she has finally forgiven herself for the killing, though it took years.

“I forgave me,” she said. “That was actually just quite recent. So still quite new.”

Pleasted had 24 previous convictions for child s*x offences. Neighbours had no idea of his true identity or his criminal history. Sands has since called for a change in the law to stop pa******les from changing their names to hide past crimes.

At age 5, my uncle started s*xually abusing me.
After my parents separated when I was 18 months old, I lived with my mother and grandparents. I was a happy child who loved singing, dancing, and performing. But when I was 5, everything changed. My mum remarried, and I started splitting my time between my grandparents’, my mum’s, and my aunt’s house. One day at my aunt’s, my uncle began s*xually abusing me. I will never forget that day, marking the start of a nightmare that lasted for 10 years. The abuse affected me both mentally, and physically. I often went to the doctor with sores and blisters, but the doctor ignored the signs and did nothing to help. This made me feel like what was happening, was normal. My stepdad was an alcoholic and his drinking led to violent outbursts, and mental abuse. For 10 years, I lived with constant anxiety, never knowing what each day would bring. Carrying all the secrets, lies, shame, blame, and guilt was exhausting! I left home when I was 16, and became a mother at 18. I knew I had to break free from my past to build a better future for us. I moved away from where I grew up, found a job, and met people from many different backgrounds. Slowly, I started to see a better life ahead. This gave me a new sense of purpose, and I made the brave choice to face my trauma.
I focused on building self-compassion, trust, self-awareness, and acceptance. Healing wasn’t about forgiving or forgetting, but about accepting what happened. I learned that trauma does not define you; it’s your response that shapes your life. Now, at 55, I have built a life I am proud of. My career has taken me across Europe and America. I met my soulmate, and we have been married for 27 years, raising three wonderful children together. I learned that I am not defined by what happened to me, but by who I choose to become. Two years ago, I published my story, “Sacrificial Girl,” hoping it would help others in similar situations find the strength and courage to heal and live the life they deserve. Since then, I started the “What Life Throws at You” website and movement, creating workbooks, guided journals, and healing resources. I am now launching a new project called Survivor Stories – Turning Pain into Purpose, a collection of books on different types of abuse, each featuring survivors sharing their stories of strength and survival. The former North Dakota state senator Ray Holmberg, a Republican who served in the legislature for 45 years, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the 81-year-old from Grand Forks traveled to Prague in the Czech Republic about 14 times between 2011 and 2021.

During these trips, he paid for s*xual acts with adolescent boys at a brothel and sought out underage boys in a public park near the main train station.

He reportedly used the alias “Sean Evans” on some occasions to avoid having his real name recorded, citing his position as a state legislator.

Court documents detail how he communicated with friends about the trips, encouraging them to join, sharing details like boys “renting” for around $60 (with s*x extra), and boasting about encounters with boys as young as 12 and 15.

He also faced allegations of manipulating a 16-year-old Canadian boy online to send explicit images.

Holmberg pleaded guilty in August 2024 to one count of traveling in foreign commerce for the purpose of engaging in illicit s*xual conduct.

The sentencing occurred on March 26, 2025, exceeding the guidelines range that both sides had recommended (around 3-4 years), with the judge citing the severity of the offenses and ongoing risk.

This case was handled under Project Safe Childhood, the DOJ’s initiative against child exploitation.

FUGITIVE ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY RA**NG AN INFANT.
Police in Jackson, TN arrested 27-year-old Isaiah Hayes.
He was on the run out of Shelby County on several severe charges involving the s*xual exploitation and r**e of a child. Chief among them: Hayes was wanted in connection with the aggravated r**e of a nine-month-old infant.
Police tracked him to a housing complex in Jackson.
They found him hiding inside one unit and was taken into custody without incident.
He faces the following charges in Memphis:

¡ Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated R**e of a Child
¡ Especially Aggravated Solicitation of a Minor
