In the words of one of my classmatesā€¦ā€a great light has gone outā€ šŸ™šŸ¾

As a kid in the 80s…to watch a Black man run for President twice, inspire people, and change the face of politics…was life-changing for me! It was one of the many reasons I aspired at a young age to someday serve in public office. My dream was fulfilled a year ago when I was appointed to serve on the Atlanta Board of Education. šŸ™ŒšŸ¾ šŸ¤—Even more so, my dream was fulfilled when I had a chance to meet Rev. Jesse Jackson in 2018, when I was doing work at THE Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta! It was the honor of a lifetime to not only meet him, but to watch him inspire a whole new generation of students…wow, what a legacy and what a gift! šŸ™šŸ¾

Here’s to running your life race well and to having fought the good fight…you walked and marched, so we could run…rest well God’s servant āœŠšŸ¾

On this I want to say thank you God for allowing me to fulfill a childhood dream of serving as a member of the Atlanta Board of Education! It has been the honor of my life to represent you ATL, and especially to represent District 6, the community I was raised inšŸ¤— Know that we accomplished a lot in 1 year, and the work doesn’t stop here! To my family, friends, every parent, guardian, student, organizational partner, APS colleague and supporter who linked arms on OUR journey…THANK YOU!!
The good work continues and we’ll keep being ambassadors and advocates for all of the families of Atlanta Public Schools!
Forever I Love Atlanta…stay tuned for the next chapter āœŒšŸ¾ā¬†ļø šŸ…°ļøšŸ‘‡šŸ¾

I am deeply grateful for Mayor endorsement and for the trust he has shown in my leadership, including appointing me to serve on the WorkSource Atlanta Board under his Department of Labor and Employment Services. Working alongside the Mayor on workforce development, economic mobility, and affordable housing has strengthened my belief that strong cities begin with strong schools.

When we invest in students and families, we strengthen every neighborhood in Atlanta.

I remain committed to listening, collaborating, and leading with purpose on behalf of District 6.

So, I am asking for your vote on today Tuesday, December 2nd. Vote Tolton Pace and keep me as your Atlanta Public Schools District 6 School Board representative as we continue this collective ā€˜group project’ for our city.

Keep the P.A.C.E.... GET OUT AND VOTE!

Mayor said it best — Atlanta is a group project.

Seeing our Mayor at on Sunday was a pleasant surprise. Hearing him lift up the work happening in the city of Atlanta made it even more special. I truly believe that when you stay present, serve with intention, and stay rooted in community, the impact speaks for itself.

Thank you, Mayor, for your confidence in the work I’m doing for families as an incumbent for District 6. Together, we’ll keep pushing our students and our city forward.

One more day until run off elections! Let’s keep the P.A.C.E.! We’re almost there!

The holidays can be a tender time for so many families, and showing up for our community matters now more than ever. I had the honor of serving meals and sharing space with neighbors who remind me why this work is bigger than policies or board meetings — it’s about people.

Service isn’t just what we do during the season…it’s who we choose to be all year long. Grateful for every hand that volunteered, every smile exchanged, and every moment of connection.

Wishing peace, warmth, and community for everyone during this holiday season.

I’m deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Hollis family — a name that carries weight, legacy, and decades of leadership in Atlanta.

Michael Hollis wasn’t just a community icon to me; he was family. He and my mother grew up next door to each other on West End Avenue, both proud APS graduates of Washington High School. And for me, he became a mentor — the kind of mentor who guides you like an uncle would.

Michael poured wisdom into me that shaped the man I am today. He exposed me to the business world early — from etiquette to economics, from how to carry myself in a room to how to understand the forces that shape our city. He taught me Atlanta’s history, not from a textbook, but from lived experience… stories of leaders he advised, from Maynard Jackson to President Jimmy Carter. He made sure I knew where I came from, so I’d always know where I’m going.

To have the support of the Hollis family is something I don’t take lightly. Their belief in me is rooted in legacy, community, and a shared commitment to Atlanta’s future.

Thank you to the Hollis family for standing with me. Let’s keep the P.A.C.E. and continue our work to uplift and empower every student and family across this city.
