Mark your calendar for this Saturday morning 9a -12p. The Lake Claire Community Land Trust was created by countless hours of volunteer labor. That tradition continues with our Community Work Day on the 3rd Saturday every month. Getting together to get the work done is the surest way to build and experience community!

We’ll be weeding, spreading wood chips, doing special projects, and more. Bring drinking water and work gloves. We need your help to sustain the LCCLT! Rain date: 4th Saturday. (Check the website if the weather is iffy.)

It's a beautiful afternoon! Stop by the LCCLT today from 3p-4:30p for Death Cafe Atlanta with Denise to discuss life, death, and everything in between over tea, coffee, cake and compassion. This is a safe space to share thoughts, discuss fears, ask questions and explore societal norms around death and dying.

If you’re curious, you’ve experienced loss, or you just want to explore the reality of mortality, this event is for you. The Death Cafe is a social franchise started in the United Kingdom in 2011. Since then, there have been 16,662 Death Cafes in 85 countries. For more information, please visit www.deathcafe.com.

Coming from a place of personal experience, pure passion, and a desire to serve the dying, Denise is a certified end of life doula, educator, advocate, and hospice volunteer committed to ensuring that her clients and their families never have to face the harsh realities of death and dying alone.
