📣 HUNGRY HEARTS MISSION UPDATE

As we prepare for an exciting new chapter, our September Feeding Mission has been canceled so our team can focus on getting the Hungry Hearts Community Pantry prepared to open its doors to the public! 💚
But we’ll be back in October for a very special Feeding Mission at Big Bethel AME Church, partnering with Beauty for Ashes to provide our unhoused neighbors with more than a meal.
Our clients will have the opportunity to take a shower, select as much clothing as they can carry, and then sit down at tables in the church parking lot to enjoy a hot meal with dignity. This is what community looks like—meeting people where they are and caring for the whole person.
October will be our only Feeding Mission at Big Bethel AME Church as we transition into operating our Community Pantry.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful for everyone who continues to serve, donate, partner, and believe in the mission of Hungry Hearts Inc.

🏗️💚 RENOVATIONS START NEXT WEEK!

We’re officially beginning renovations on the Hungry Hearts Community Pantry! 🙌🏾
If you’re unable to make a monetary donation, we gladly welcome new or gently used building supplies to help us complete the space and prepare for inspections.
Paint, primer, shelving, lumber, painting supplies and other building materials can make a BIG difference!

🏗️💚 WE NEED MORE PANTRY BUILDERS!

The Hungry Hearts Community Pantry will start its 1st phase of renovations soon, but we are not finished!

Our goal is to get this space completely inspection-ready and up to the standards required for us to move forward with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Once we successfully pass our inspections and meet those requirements, we can take that important next step. 🙌🏾

That’s why we need MORE BUILDERS! 🔨💚 Your donations are helping us purchase the materials, shelving, paint, supplies, and other necessities needed to get this pantry across the finish line.

We’re entering Week 3 of our Hungry Hearts Pantry fundraiser, and we have just 14 DAYS LEFT to reach our $5,000 goal!

Yesterday, Hungry Hearts was back in the community doing what we love—SERVING! 🙌🏾 We provided 49 loaded taco salad plates to our unhoused neighbors. 🌮🥗

A huge THANK YOU to our volunteers for giving their time and to this month’s feeding donors: Pastor Mike Owens, Stephanie Turner, Bonnie Taylor, and Belinda Jennings.
