Today, on National Intern Day, we celebrate the students and emerging professionals who have chosen to learn, grow, and serve alongside the Georgia Department of Community Supervision.

Our internship program provides meaningful, hands-on experiences that prepare tomorrow’s leaders for careers in public service. In fact, several members of our DCS team began their journey as interns and now serve communities across Georgia as full-time employees.

By investing in people, we’re investing in the future of our agency and the communities we serve.

After 25 years as a misdemeanor probation officer, Betsy Roberts found a new purpose in Reentry Services.

As a Community Coordinator, she works one-on-one with individuals to connect them with opportunities, encourage their goals, and help remove barriers to success.
