Waycross Circuit Community Coordinator Mande’-kan Mendes-Shuman recently led two community-focused events supporting individuals and families across the region.

“Next Stop: Waycross Hub,” held in partnership with DRC Family Day, brought together 14 vendors in the Waycross DCS parking lot to share resources on education, entry-level employment, health services, and more. The event created space for supervisees, family members, and community partners to connect with opportunities that support long-term goals.

An additional event included a community blood drive held at the Douglas office in partnership with OneBlood. Outreach efforts across the community and nearby businesses helped promote strong participation and support for the drive.
