Check this out: CGC RICHARD SNYDER is staying ready to answer the call. 💪⚓ The crew underwent training to don and doff our newly issued Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs), sharpening the skills that keep our crew safe and mission-ready in hazardous environments. 🔥

SCBA training is critical because Coast Guard crews often operate in dangerous conditions such as fires, smoke-filled compartments, fuel vapors, or other contaminated atmospheres. Knowing how to quickly and correctly don and doff SCBAs can mean the difference between life and death during emergencies like onboard fires or rescue operations. This training ensures crews can protect themselves, maintain operational capability, and continue carrying out Coast Guard missions safely and effectively.

Check this out: CGC RICHARD SNYDER had a lot to celebrate recently! 🎉
We proudly recognized ET2 as Sailor of the Quarter, celebrated our BM2 advancing to BM1 with family onboard for the ceremony, and wished fair winds and following seas to another BM1 as they depart to begin their journey through OCS.
We also commend the outstanding work of BM2, GM2, and DC2 for their professionalism and excellence while conducting fisheries enforcement boatings.
Bravo Zulu to all! 👏⚓
