Today we hosted our last in-service meeting of the year with our Atlantic County Foster Grandparent Program volunteers!

It was a wonderful day celebrating Community Action Month, Older Americans Month, and mental health awareness. We were joined by several amazing community organizations that shared valuable information and resources with our volunteers.

A special thank you to Royal Suites, Shore Memorial for speaking about Skin Cancer Awareness and the different screenings and testing services available, Aetna Health Care for sharing Medicare resources, and the Atlantic County Public Health Office for leading an important conversation on mental health and community supports.

Our volunteers also enjoyed a fun-filled and relaxing afternoon with puzzles, painting, word searches, and other wellness activities.

As always, we took time to celebrate our volunteers with May, June, and July birthdays!

It has truly been a great year of in-services, learning, laughter, and fellowship. We are so grateful for our incredible volunteers and community partners who make these gatherings so meaningful.

We had a groovy time at our End-of-Year Volunteer Luncheon honoring our Atlantic County volunteers on June 25! 🌼✌️

In honor of the Foster Grandparent Program’s 60th anniversary, we celebrated with a 1960s-inspired theme and all the good vibes.

Volunteers received Certificates of Appreciation and special medals recognizing their incredible dedication.

Thank you for making a difference—your love and service never go out of style!💛🎖️🕊️

Our FGP staff is attending the, Culturally Inclusive, Trauma-Informed Care with Older Adults, presented by the American Society on Aging
