I WANNA ROCK stonehenge

I WANNA ROCK stonehenge In 1986 I travelled to England to shoot Ozzy Osbourne for his tourbook. The next day I went to Stonehenge. This page is dedicated to this historic monument.

I encourage all of you to build and photograph your own "Stonehenge" and post your photos here.

Every Picture Tells a Story

It all started with a drive to an overlook by a restaurant called Off the Hook in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. While there I noticed a trail that my daughter had told me about. As the sun set in the sky I began walking the path, along the way noticing unique rock formations that reminded me of Stonehenge in England. They were everywhere. I began to wonder, Who created these? Is it the work of one person? Of many people?

Before I knew it I had walked all the way to Highlands. As I turned and began heading back to my car I noticed an Australian couple stopped along the trail, building a formation. A few minutes later I passed a little boy doing the same. Around a bend were three teenage girls gathering stones for their own creation. No two were alike, and each one was powerful in its own way.

I encourage all to come and explore the unique and inspiring rock formations captured on this page. Better yet, head out into the natural world and create your own, and then post an image here for everyone to see and share.
