Atlantic Highlands First Aid Squad is an all-volunteer, around-the-clock emergency medical service that serves the Borough of Atlantic Highlands and surrounding towns in central New Jersey. We do not charge for our medical services or ambulance transports and thrive solely on donations from the Borough and its residents. The AHFAS's mission is to deliver high quality emergency medical care to anyo

ne who needs it, whenever they need it. And to inspire others to lend a hand. In addition, the AHFAS provides a wide range of non-emergency community services. We offer CPR and first aid classes, ambulance tours, event standbys and the annual Santa visits in December.

Spring Cleaning Day at Atlantic Highlands First Aid Squad 🧼🚑

Today, our members rolled up their sleeves and got to work—washing the rigs until they shined and giving the building a full clean-out from top to bottom. It’s all part of the behind-the-scenes effort to make sure we’re always ready when the community needs us.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and put in the time and hard work. Days like this show what teamwork is all about.

Interested in joining a dedicated group that gives back and makes a difference? New members are always welcome—no experience necessary, just a willingness to help your neighbors.

📩 Reach out to learn more or stop by—we’d love to have you on the team!

Tonight we celebrated the Atlantic Highlands Fire Department. Team camaraderie between fire and first aid is important in a small town like ours. Both of our squads work hard around the clock and we are always here to support each other.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of a member of our family and neighboring Fire Department, Andrew Bane.

On behalf of everyone at Atlantic Highlands First Aid, and honestly, anyone who had the pleasure to know Drew, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all of our brothers and sisters in the fire service. The loss of one of our own is felt throughout the entire emergency services community.
