This Monday night was engineers night! Tonight we washed all the hose and all the trucks while watching the storm slowly roll in. I guess the key to ending the drought around here is to pull out all the trucks and start scrubbing 😅

Thank you to our member Dave Smith for brining his awesome soft wash set up to help us get it all done in half the time and to everyone who came out tonight!

A huge thank you to Moes Service Center and the Eastern shore cruisers for hosting a wonderful car show and allowing us to raise even more funds for Erica!
And as expected the fire alarm went off as soon as we started loading up trunks to head out. Shout out to Stockton Fire Company for filling in for us while we were out. They jumped in and even helped load coolers up as soon as they arrived!

Neighbors helping neighbors, isn’t that what the Eastern Shore is all about💙

Come see us at Moes tomorrow!!Don’t forget all concession proceeds go straight to Erica and her family 💙

If we’re being honest, some weeks truly make us question why we choose this line of work. The loss, heartbreak, and things we see can be so difficult to carry with us. It’s also during those moments that we’re reminded why we answer the call. To be there for someone on their worst day, to offer comfort when we can, and to serve our community when you need us most.
After a string of tragic calls, we’re reminded just how precious life truly is. Tonight, we encourage everyone to hold their loved ones a little tighter, say the words that matter most, and never take a moment for granted.
We also want to express our appreciation to our EMS crews and neighboring fire companies who always bring us comfort in knowing they will continue to stand beside us through the hardest moments.

Please keep all those affected in your thoughts and prayers. Hug your family, call a friend, and cherish the time you have together.❤️

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who never made it home. We honor the men and women who gave their lives serving our country. As we celebrate with our families this Memorial Day, may we reflect on the true meaning of today, and remember their sacrifice, honor their legacy, and remain forever grateful for the freedom they fought to protect. 🇺🇸❤️

Tomorrow is a bittersweet day for our firehouse family as we send one of our firefighters, Bella, off to boot camp.

Anything from trainings to late night calls, her s***k, determination, and personality have brought so much life to our station. It’s hard to imagine the firehouse and every call without her energy and smiles beside us. While she will be greatly missed around the firehouse, we could not be more proud to watch her chase her dreams.

We wish her nothing but success as she begins this next chapter and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes. No matter where this next chapter takes her, she will always have a family here at the station cheering her on and waiting for her safe return. We know she is going to accomplish amazing things.

Please help us wish her luck and leave some words of encouragement for her as she begins her travels to Texas.

What a night

Tonight our firehouse family, surrounding firehouses and community came together in a way that words truly can’t describe. With everyone’s incredible support, we served around 460 spaghetti dinner plates and had the absolute honor of presenting Erica and her family with over $10,000 at the end of the night.

The love, generosity, and support shown tonight was overwhelming in the best way possible. Seeing so many people come together for one of our own was emotional for all of us, and it’s something we will never forget.

From every meal purchased, donation made, basket donated, helping hand offered, and every person who simply showed up, thank you. Thank you for standing beside Erica, supporting our family, and showing us what our community can truly do.

It would be absolutely impossible to name every business, organization, and individual that donated, supported, volunteered, or helped make tonight possible but please know that every contribution, big or small, meant the world to us and to Erica’s family. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you.

We also want to give the biggest praise and heartfelt thank you to Billy McCready, who spent countless hours over the past several weeks pouring his time, energy, and heart into making sure every single detail of this event was perfectly planned. The amount of work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and tonight would not have been possible without his dedication.

Tonight was so much more than just a dinner. ❤️

(And would it really be a firehouse event if we didn’t have at least one call?)

- We will be having a silent auction AND the “Chinese” auction.
Both auctions will close at 7pm tonight. On your tickets you MUST put your name and phone number or we will not be able to get you your prize and we will have to draw another ticket. Winners will be contacted after dinner ends, we will arrange times for pickup with you then!

Here are some more sneak peeks at some of our auction items and some behind the scenes prep!
